Privacy and Security:

At StarBird, your privacy is very important to us. We collect your information in order to make your shopping experience with us as smooth as possible and to keep you informed of specials, promotions, changes to the site, etc. Your order transactions are performed on secure servers thru SSL. StarBird will NEVER divulge any personal information about our customers or web site visitors to third parties, except to shipping companies to whom we obviously must do so in order to ship your order(s).

When you place an order, we will ask you for your email address or we may have it on file within your customer account information. We use your email address to send an order confirmation email. This order confirmation will serve as your receipt.
Occasionally StarBird may email special offers to customers and to individuals that have signed up for the StarBird newsletter. If you do not wish to receive these offers, you may Unsubscribe from the mailing list at the bottom of any email that you receive from us. It's just that easy.

The Way We Use Information:

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. For instance, we must provide your address to UPS to deliver the ordered items.
We use your email addresses to answer the email we receive, notify customers of shipment delays, notify customers of problems with an order, and to communicate special offers, promotions, site updates, etc.

Secure Shopping:
When browsing and adding products to our shopping cart, you will remain in a normal browsing mode. However, to protect your security, the final process of the order is completed in secure mode using SSL with 128 bit encryption (see below). This is one of many steps we take to protect your personal information, especially your credit card number.
Our shopping cart automatically accesses our secure server when you arrive at the payment information page of the order process, encrypting your delivery & payment information so that it cannot be read as it travels between your browser and the secure server. This page will seem to be "slower", but that's due to the encryption taking place. Please be patient.
The digital certificate used by eStarBird.com verifies and authenticates our site's use of SSL technology.

Online Ordering:

Minimum Order: We do not have an order minimum at this time, but please keep in mind that ordering more typically reduces your overall shipping charge.
You don't need an account to browse or place items in your cart. When you are ready to place your order, please create an account, which will ease your checkout and make returns visits a breeze. When you are ready to checkout, any selections you make are transferred to your secure shopping cart.

Ordering at StarBird is fast and secure. Just follow these simple steps to place your order.

To place your order, select any items in our store by selecting Add To Cart. As you add items to your Shopping Cart you will see them listed in the top right of your screen. At any time you may enter the shopping cart and change the quantities of an item or remove an item.

Finalize Your Order:

Once you have completed your selections you then select Checkout . If you have not logged into your account, you will be requested to login. Even if you are a new customer and have never logged in before you may create a customer account and continue to finalize your purchase.

Creating a customer account allows us to save information that makes your ordering process easier. Each time you place a new order, just login and you will not need to re-enter your information again.

 
Checking Out:

Step 1. Verify your order details, your Billing Address and your Shipping Address Information and add any comments you would like us to see with your order. You can make any changes as needed. When entering your billing address, please make sure the address you enter is the same address where you receive your credit card billing statements, otherwise processing of your order may be delayed.

Step 2. Select your Payment Information.
We have 3 Payment Options:

  • Credit Card - Enter your credit card information. We accept MasterCard ,Visa, American Express, and Discover
  • Paypal - To learn more about Paypal go to www.paypal.com.
  • Check or Money Order - Once you Confirm your Order we will wait for your payment before shipping. Mailing information is shown during your checkout.

Step 3. Confirm your Order. Your order will then be processed and shipped within 36 to 48 hours. Most orders are processed the next business day. Please check all information carefully before confirming your order since errors or omissions may cause delays.

a. If this is a "Credit Card order", an order confirmation page will appear. A few minutes later, you should receive an email containing your order details. Be sure to retain this as a record of your order; you will need this information in the event that you need to contact us or have us track the order.

b. If this is a "Phone order", an order form will appear. You may print that and call us at 1-310-740-7855 and use the order form to simplify your telephone call.
That's it! Your order will be on it's way as quickly as we can prepare your shipment. If you have any questions, be sure to contact us by email or at our telephone number, listed above.

Occasionally a customer may prefer to order by telephone. No problem. Let our shopping cart help you: place the products you wish to order into the online shopping cart as described above, and proceed through the ordering process until you reach the screen that asks for your payment method. Select "Phone Order", and complete your shipping information. This will allow you to print an order form, with the product and shipping information already calculated, which will speed up the process and simplify matters when you call in your order.

 
Tracking Your Order:
We do not offer online shipment tracking at this time. However, if you have any question about your shipment, please email or call us and we will track your shipment and update you with the status.
 
Your Customer Account:

We collect basic information that allows us to bill and ship your order. This saves you time when completing your orders during future purchases.

We do not ship to Post Office Boxes. This protects you from someone using your credit information and shipping to an unauthorized address.

Whenever you login to your account you may do any of the following:

  • Review the status of any current or previous orders.
  • View or change your account information.
  • View or change entries in your address book.
  • Change your account password.
  • Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters.
  • View or change your product notification list.
 
Shipping:

United States - Destinations Within the Continental U.S.
We use Fed Ex for our shipping within the 48 United States. All orders within the continental United States are shipped Fed Ex Ground unless a specific request is made. Our online store will calculate the Fed Ex shipping and handling charges for you within the Continental US. Most orders arrive in 2 to 5 days from when they are shipped depending on your distance from California.

Our shipping rates are based on the weight of your order. Your zip code is used to calculate the actual shipping costs using Fed Ex Ground Rate Charts based on the service level that you selected. Your actual shipping costs are shown in your Shopping Cart as you shop and during Checkout.

Outside the Continental U.S. - Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Other U.S. Territories
We typically use United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail for Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska and other U.S. Territories that use a U.S. Zip Code. Additional charges may apply. We will contact you before shipping if there are any additional shipping charges.
USPS Express Mail Service: If you would like a shipping quote using United States Postal Service Express Mail, please feel free to contact us with the specific items you would like to order and the respective quantities.

 
International Shipping – CANADA and All Other Countries Outside the United States:

Currently, our store is not set up to accept orders for shipment outside of the United States. However, we'll gladly ship to Canada and most other countries outside of the US. Simply call or contact us by email at info@eStarBird.com to arrange your order. Please do NOT use the shopping cart to place your order unless your billing and shipping address are BOTH located within the United States or U.S. Territories with a zip code.

We typically use United States Postal Service Global Priority Mail to ship your package if you are located outside the United States. These shipping charges do not include customs fees, import taxes or duties. If you would like a shipping quote, please feel free to contact us by email at info@eStarBird.com with the specific items you would like to order and the respective quantities. Once we receive your request for a quote, we will contact you via email with the final shipping charges for your approval, prior to shipping your parcel. Payment must be in U.S. Currency only.

Important: Your order may incur customs/duty fees when it arrives. All international customs fees are the responsibility of you (the customer). StarBird does not have any control over these fees and will not assume any responsibility for customs fees on your purchase. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.

In the event your order is refused for any reason when international delivery is attempted: Shipping fees are not refundable. Credits are issued minus return shipping charges back to the USA and a 6% service charge will be imposed after product(s) are received by StarBird.

Due to potentially unreliable shipping or fraud, StarBird reserves the right to restrict or deny shipment to any country at our own discretion.

 
General Shipping Policies:
  • Orders cancelled after order placement will incur a 6% processing fee.
  • Physical addresses that are incorrect or changed after order ships will incur a $10 fee.
  • Occasionally an item is out-of-stock. In the event we are out of stock on an item(s), we will notify you and you can re-order the item. We do not backorder products.
 
Discount Coupons:
Discount Coupons allow you to take advantage of various discounts that StarBird occasionally offers. Using your Discount Coupon is a simple process during your Checkout. Enter the Gift/Discount Code on the Payment Information screen. You will see the discount applied to your order once you move to the Order Confirmation Screen.
 
Available Discounts:

Club Discounts - We offer Special Discounts to Clubs and Organizations that we advertise with. If you would like to learn more, have your club representative email us using the Contact Us link.

Notes:
1. Only one Discount Coupon may be used per order.
2. Order Values DO NOT include shipping costs when applying discounts.

Free Shipping Offer Conditions
This condition applies to all coupons that give free shipping. Occasionally, StarBird may offer Free Shipping as a special promotion. The Free Shipping offer only applies only to the 48 continental U.S. States. No Exceptions.

 
Returns:

StarBird wants you to be happy with your purchases. If you are not satisfied with your StarBird purchase, we will accept most items returned within 10 days and issue a full refund of the product cost. The shipping charges will only be refunded if we made an error on your order or due to a faulty product.

We will pay the return shipping costs if an item is being returned due to our error or a faulty product and we will pay the shipping back to you in this case if you want an item in exchange. If you are missing an item or received the incorrect item, please let us know immediately upon receipt of your order.

 
Return Procedure:

We will work with you whenever possible to resolve any problem(s) with your order. It is imperative that you contact us before returning any merchandise using our Contact Form or by Calling us at 1-310-740-7855. We will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. The RMA Number must be written on the return label. Any returns received without the RMA Number, will be refused at our receiving dock. Merchandise MUST be returned within 10 days after receiving your order.

After obtaining the required RMA number from us, you can then send the merchandise back to us via Fed Ex. All products will need to be in their original, unused condition including all boxes and accessories. Please include a copy of your invoice with the return. Refunds are issued using the same method of payment that you used within 3-5 business days after receipt at our returns department.

Missing Packages:
Orders should typically be received within 5 to 10 business days for Continental USA.
In the event that your package does not arrive, please contact us within 10 days of your purchase so we may investigate the matter further. StarBird cannot be responsible for loss or damage claims made after expiration of the shipping carriers’ period of liability.
 
Missing Items:
Although we strive for perfection, we are human and occasionally we make mistakes on orders. Missing item(s) must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt of order. No exceptions.
