The Fuzzy Wuzzy is also ideal as a perch/preener/foraging toy for smaller birds that prefer fibrous material. Just hang it horizontally and hide millet, seeds or not nuts in the fuzzies.

Plucking is a very complex and individual behaviour, we recommend that the very first thing you do is take your bird to a qualified AVIAN Vet to eliminate physical causes. The FW is not designed to be a tool to “eliminate all plucking”, but rather to be used as an alternative to destroying feathers. It is well defined that a bird that has “preening activity” available to it in its cage will in many cases “pluck or preen” that device, thus taking away time the bird may have otherwise used to pluck itself.
